Everyone deserves the chance to reclaim their power.

Together, we are building a movement where women impacted by sexual violence, domestic abuse, and systemic trauma are centered, valued, and equipped to lead.

WHAT WE DO

The Serenity Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between healing and thriving for women impacted by sexual violence, domestic abuse, and other forms of gender-based harm.

We empower them to move beyond survival by building confidence, leadership, and community impact skills through a trauma-informed, evidence-based curriculum and passion projects ♡

OUR WHY

The World Health Organization estimates that 1 in 3 women worldwide experience sexual or intimate partner violence. In the United States alone, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner, with rates only rising in recent years.

Without targeted support, survivors face increased risks of mental health crises, homelessness, and economic instability, trapping generations of women in cycles of trauma and disempowerment. If current trends continue, millions more women will be affected by violence, exacerbated by social inequities and systemic neglect.

The Serenity Project fights back by closing the critical gap between healing and thriving—building confidence, leadership, and community impact skills for women impacted by sexual violence, domestic abuse, and systemic trauma. We empower women to break cycles of harm, reclaim their narratives, and become changemakers leading towards a safer, more just future.
